Why Not – Right?

Tonight… I said goodbye to a friend. I said goodbye because this special friend is dealing with a lot. Dealing with things I have definitive ideas about. Things I’d not keep my mouth shut about. Things I have no business speaking on – thus my respectful goodbye.

I hope this friend continues striving for their goals. This friend has been remarkably sucessful in the past months of life at reaching goals. I have no doubt, at all that this special friend will continue down sucessful paths. I believe in this friend! Truly.

This friend has allowed and afforded me a sweet respite after a hectic few months. This friend was kind, gentle, supportive and sweet. I shall miss this friend – greatly.

To you my sweet friend I say this:
-be you NO ONES punching bag. Verbal or otherwise.
-be you always reminiscent of the fact that you are REAL. You do COUNT. You are VALUED!
-be you sweet friend, just BE You!

I met an amazing person to day. By accident. I’d stopped in order to re-triangulate my position and suddenly there he was.

I heard the quiet rush of silent footsteps and turned towards their lack of sound… He stood just 5 Feet from my position; hands deeply entrenched in his jeans, Carhart Jacket buldging as they do.

He asked if I was lost. I replied that I was not.

He asked if I wanted to be. (lost) I stared, at first unable to say anything as mysterious tears arose in my eyes.

Then, his brilliant, bold, busy blue eyes twinkled. “When you are, (ready to be lost) I’ll be around.” He said.

I nodded as he turned and walked silently away. The entire time I watched him walking back, behind the industrial area, my brain screamed – in it’s tiniest voice…. “please, wait for me….”

It was……… Wow.

“Are you ready to be?”

I’ve decided to work on some things, which means portions of my writings here may seemingly disappear. Fear not, if you are reading either Our History or Their Story, they may be pulled from the site for a time but you will still be able to read them if you want to. If you arrive and find them ‘missing’, then email me: cylithria(at)whynotright(dot)com and I will hook you up with the files so you can continue reading. OR you can simply  wait until they make their re-appearance. Whichever works for you.

Pictures may end up dissappearing, pages being moved and various other things may change….. but one thing is for certain, I am taking back my blog – no holds barred. If folks don’t like what they read, they may leave – there is a little X in your browser window you can click and VOILA…. no more Why Not – Right? for you. Trust me, use the X, I won’t mind. In fact, if I really don’t want you reading here, I’ll just ban your IP and you can see my golriously Rude, Crude, but oh so True Ban Page that tells you, you have been banned. Either way, basically what I am saying is, if you don’t like what you find, who I am or what you read here – STFU and leave.

Sadly, during the last few months, it has come to my attention that many new people arrived at this blog thinking that if they read it, they would get to know and learn about me. <shaking head>  That isn’t how this blog works folks. This blog started when I was NOT posting as Cylithria, but using a different name. This blog has been written from every clime or place imagined. This blog has been my personal journal, memoirs, notes to self, daily babbles and often time things I find amusing, inspirational or something I love.

To whomever felt they’d get to know anything at all about me, in some linear form or fashion, via this blog….. you are barking up the wrong bunker baby.

Most of all though, this blog is changing because as I struggled to become one of the regular folk, I lost myself. I guess I am not regular – and I am okay with that. I guess I am not believable – and that is fantastic! I guess I truly don’t give two cruds if people read or do not read this blog…. It’s mine. My personal voice, expressed as I see fit on any and all subjects I choose.

People don’t have to like, agree or even read it. And ya know what? I am totally okay with that!!!

So yes, Change, it’s swiftly coming….
